Abbey on The Horizon

Similarly,  'Abbey in The Horizon' is an intriguing allegory.

Image 1:  in 'No Line on The Horizon', it's the "equal sign" stripes, imposed over the vast and endless sea horizon, that give the cover an intangible appeal, while in 'Abbey Road' it's the crossing stripes and the perpendicular street lane lines, that define the graphical identity of the Abbey Road album cover.

Image 2:  There is a feeling of endlessness which becomes more poignant when clearing the frontal elements. The horizon is the premise in both covers.  An endless road, the endless sea, a journey that ends and begins...There is no end to Love.
