After color explosion phases both bands return to calmer white sleeves in 'All That White', which is fitting since The White Album and All That You Can't Leave Behind, in contrast with their previous productions, go back to basics by stripping their music of the ornaments that had to be incorporated along the way. At this point, The Beatles and U2, start to reconnect again with their more simple origins. It is interesting that after completing the third phase of their careers (each phase is comprised more or less of a triad of albums, 3-3-3) to begin the 4th phase, the Jeremiah 33-3 reference is made in the ATTYCLB sleeve by Bono. Could U2 leave those three phases behind?
